Well, flashworks has no length restrictions, just time ;) Would be lovely to see you over there, in any of these places. You could always drop them a line and introduce yourself - I picked a bunch of them off a friending meme that was making the rounds in December and introduced myself by way of fic, but I think friending people because you got into the fandom/read some fic is not weird at all - goodness knows people have done it to me :)
